I know at times I have had trouble uploading pics to this and other sites. Most sites including this one have a pic size limit and I know I have trouble resizing pics so they still look good and will fit the size requirements. There are a number of programs out there that will resize pics, here are a couple that I got from a quick google search:
www.freewarehome.com/Graphics/Graphic_Manipulation /Image_Resizing_t.html
bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm
powayusd.sdcoe.k12.ca.us/projects/frontpageWorksho p/resizing_photos.htm
www.showyourphotos.com/ .
The easiest way that I have found to post pics is to use a free photo hosting service, the one I have tried and like is found at www.photobucket.com . After registering for an account all you have to do is choose which pic(s) you want to post on the board and download them to the hosting site. After the pic is hosted go to your album on the site and under the pic you want to post there will be 3 choices of addresses, all you have to do is highlight and copy the third choice which is the IMG address and paste it into your post where you want the pic to display. Make sure that you don't have anything immediately before or after the IMG address. I have found this to be an easy way to post pics and they will be available in your post as long as they are hosted on the hosting site. If you would rather post a link to the pic instead of actually having the pic show up in your post use the URL address. The way I have been doing it is to type out my text, hit the enter button to start a new line, paste in the IMG address, and if I want another pic paste it or type more text or simply hit the post button if the pic is the last thing you want in your entry.
